Burger King’s loyalty program, Royal Perks, is going nationwide following a digital test rollout in three markets back in February. The program is good for orders placed on the BK app and bk.com.
The BK program is based on “crowns” – you get ten crowns for every dollar that you spend and receive double crowns during your birthday month (not just on your actual birthday) and there are also daily perks that allow you to upsize fries, drink or hash browns for free, per order per day.
Once you’re “in” there’s also access to special offers and exclusives, but unlike the competitors, the whole BK menu is open for redemptions once you collect enough crowns. “We’re excited for members to unlock a more personalized BK experience,” says Ellie Doty, chief marketing officer of Burger King, North America. “And access to rewards they can’t get anywhere else.”
