NEWS DIRECTOR – KCHA AM/FM IN CHARLES CITY, IA

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of News Director for our sister radio stations KCHA-AM/FM & KCZE in Charles City, Iowa.

Our goal is to be the go-to daily source for news and information for Floyd and Chickasaw Counties and the surrounding area.  We are looking for the right person to make that happen.

You should have news writing experience, interview skills and a keen interest in keeping people informed and local news.  You will be conducting interviews, covering meetings at night and on the weekends, writing news for on-air and on-line and voicing newscasts on-the-air.  You may also assist in other radio broadcast activities.
